About Sandfall Blocks
Sandfall Blocks is a free falling sand puzzle for your browser. Instead of stacking solid pieces, every block you drop into the tall glass jar melts into fine colored sand that pours, slides and settles into hills.
Drag a block from the tray on the right into the jar. The goal is a span: one color that reaches from the left wall to the right wall. When the sand of one color touches both walls, that whole band clears and the rest of the sand drops down.
Level 1, First Pour, asks for one span using 8 blocks. In our game the red, yellow and teal sand piled up into soft dunes, and placing the next block on the low side was what joined a color across. A dashed line near the top of the jar marks how high the sand may rise.
Because the sand keeps moving, where a block lands matters as much as its shape. Helpers unlock as you go: Reroll at level 3, Scoop at level 6, Rainbow at level 10 and Undo at level 15.
