About Aquarium Sort

Aquarium Sort is an underwater sorting puzzle with a friendly otter in a sailor cap as your guide. Round bubbles float in the middle of the screen, each holding a few sea creatures: clownfish, blue fish, pufferfish and more. Above them sit empty fishbowls, and each bowl shows which creature it wants and how many, like 0/3. Your goal is to fill every bowl with three of a kind.

You play by tapping. Tap a creature in a front bubble, and it swims out. If a bowl is waiting for that kind, the creature goes straight into it. If no bowl needs it right now, it waits in the tray under the bowls. The tray has a limited number of slots, so the main rule is clear: keep the tray from filling up. When three of a kind reach a bowl, the bowl is done.

The first level, First Splash, shows how it works. The counter says Caught 0/9, so there are nine creatures to catch. Two bowls are open, one for clownfish and one for blue fish, and a hint at the bottom tells you to tap the clownfish because its bowl ordered it. A goal card on the right side sums it up in three words: Three of a kind!

The puzzle is in the timing. Each bubble holds a mix of creatures, and you can only reach the ones at the front. Tapping something no bowl needs yet uses up a tray slot. A careful player checks the bowls first, picks the creatures that are wanted right now, and only sends extras to the tray when there is space to spare. Planning a few taps ahead keeps the tray light.

As you progress, more features open up. The bar at the bottom shows four locked items at level 3, level 5, level 8 and level 12, so new tools arrive as the puzzles get bigger. There is a help button at the top and a Restart button on the right, so you can try a level again whenever a plan does not work out.

The look is bright and calm, with coral, sea grass, sand and bubbles drifting up the screen. The otter holds a little net and cheers you on from the side. It is a gentle game that still asks for some thought, which makes it a good fit for short sessions.

Aquarium Sort plays in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no install needed. Each level is short, the rules are explained on screen, and you can jump back in at any time.
