About Word Sweep

Word Sweep is a letter-grid word game set in a park in autumn. Leaves drift past a board of letter tiles six columns wide, and each tile carries a small number showing what it is worth.

Swipe across letters that touch each other to spell a word. Accepted words disappear from the grid and add to your score. Rare letters are worth more, so a short word with a valuable tile can beat a longer plain one.

The real target is lines. Empty a whole row or a whole column and you sweep that line. Level 1, First Leaves, asks you to sweep one line in two and a half minutes, and the bar at the top counts your lines, the time left and your score.

Pause, help and settings buttons sit in the corners. New levels open at 3, 6, 9 and 13, each asking for more lines. You can swipe with a finger on a phone or drag with the mouse on a computer.
