About Block Away

Block Away is a 3D logic puzzle with a soft, friendly look. A white cube floats in the middle of a pale blue screen, a smiling cube mascot waves from the corner, and a pink gem sparkles on the other side. The cube is made of smaller blocks, and arrows are drawn on its faces.

The tip at the top says it all: tap the glowing arrow, and it slides off the block if nothing is in its way. Each arrow can only leave in the direction it points. If another piece blocks the path, it stays where it is. Clear the arrows in the right order and the block comes apart.

The first level is a 3 x 3 x 3 block with four arrows to clear. A counter on the left panel shows your progress, from 0 of 4 arrows upward. Three hearts at the top of the screen show how many mistakes you can make, and a move counter sits under them.

Since the puzzle is in 3D, looking is half the game. Arrows on the sides and back of the cube matter just as much as the ones in front. Check which arrows have open space ahead of them before you tap, and you will save your hearts for the harder levels.

Help is at hand when you need it. Four helper buttons sit at the bottom of the screen, unlocked at level 3, level 6, level 10 and level 15, so new tools arrive as the blocks get bigger. A sound button and a help button sit in the top corner.

A good habit is to work from the outside in. Arrows on the edges of the block usually have the clearest paths, and each one that leaves opens space for the next. Take it slowly, since there is no timer, and enjoy watching the cube come apart one piece at a time.

Levels are short and the rules never change, so Block Away is easy to return to after a break. Younger players can enjoy the bright mascot and the simple tap control, while puzzle fans can try to clear each block without losing a single heart. Either way, every finished block is a small, satisfying win.

Block Away plays in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no download. It works with a mouse, a touchpad or a finger, and sound and settings buttons sit at the top of the screen whenever you need them.

How to play Block Away

Tap a glowing arrow on the block. It slides off if nothing is in its way. Blocked moves cost hearts, so check the path first. Clear every arrow to finish the level.
