About Tank Blasters
Tank Blasters is a turn-based tank duel on a floating island in the sky. The arena is a long green grid of tiles, lined with round cartoon trees and surrounded by smaller islands drifting over blue water. Your blue tank sits at one end, and a rival tank waits at the other.
Each side takes turns. When the banner says your turn, drag up or down to aim your cannon, then fire. A dotted line shows the path of your shot as it arcs over the field. When it lands on the other tank, its bar at the top of the screen drops.
The top of the screen keeps score for both tanks. Each one has a bar with a number, starting at 100 on the first level, and the level badge sits between them. A turn indicator shows whose move it is, and a counter at the bottom shows your current angle and the turn number.
Level 1 is about learning the arc. The field is open, the rival is straight ahead, and the only thing to work out is how high to aim. Small changes to the angle move the landing spot a long way, so it pays to make fine adjustments rather than big ones.
Further levels bring more to think about. The bar at the bottom of the screen shows several locked slots for extra shots and tools, so your choices grow as you progress. Trees and the shape of the island will also start to matter when a straight line is not an option.
A simple plan works well: watch where your first shot lands, then nudge the angle up if it falls short or down if it flies too far. Remember the angle that worked, since the rival will not move far between turns. The tank that lands its shots first wins the duel.
Duels are short and easy to follow, which makes Tank Blasters a relaxed pick for a quick session. There is no need for fast reflexes, since each turn waits for you. The skill is all in reading the arc and adjusting your angle, and every level brings a slightly different island to work out before your rival does.
Tank Blasters plays in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no download. It works with a mouse, a touchpad or a finger, and sound and settings buttons sit at the top of the screen whenever you need them.
