About Maze Paint

Maze Paint is a puzzle game about painting your way out of a maze. The hero is Dabby, a cheerful orange paint blob who is lost and needs your help. Welcome to the paint studio: your job is to guide Dabby along the path to the open door. The first level, First Steps, teaches you everything you need.

You move Dabby by dragging. Drag him through the maze and his trail paints the path behind him in bright color. The hint on the first level says it all: drag Dabby along the path to the door. Watching the colorful trail spread through the maze is one of the joys of the game.

Every level has a small twist: paint drops scattered around the maze. You need to collect every paint drop before the door counts. That turns each maze into a little route-planning puzzle, since the shortest path to the door usually skips some of the drops.

Mistakes are easy to fix. Slide back along your trail to erase it, and Dabby returns the way he came. There is also an undo button and a clear button at the top, so you can try a new route without starting the whole level again.

A step counter keeps track of how far Dabby travels. Finding a route that collects every drop in fewer steps earns more stars, which gives you a reason to replay a level and look for a neater path.

The look is soft and friendly, with pastel colors, a cute mascot and rainbow paint trails. A row of paint colors adds to the art-studio feel, and every finished maze looks like a small painting.

Levels grow more winding as you go, with more paint drops to collect and longer routes to plan. The rules never change, so the challenge comes from the mazes themselves.

Mistakes are easy to fix. If Dabby takes a wrong turn, slide back along the trail to erase it, or use the undo and clear buttons to start the path again. That makes it relaxing to experiment until you find the route that picks up every paint drop.

Early mazes like First Steps keep things simple, and later ones add more turns and more drops to collect. Planning the full route before you start dragging is the habit that makes the trickier mazes feel easy.

Maze Paint runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Drag Dabby through the maze, paint the path, grab every drop and paint your way out.
