About Precinct Tycoon
Precinct Tycoon is a free management game for your browser where you run a police station. You start as the Station Sergeant of Elm Street Precinct, with a small lobby, a front counter and a little money in the bank.
The first shift, First Day, walks you through the basics in ten steps. Step one is to head over to the lobby counter, because that is where the public comes to you. Your goals for the shift are to close a case and to build Lobby Benches and a Lobby Clerk.
Across the top you see your money, your staff and patrol cars, and the clock for the current shift. The rank bar on the left fills as you work, and the city map in the corner shows where your station sits.
Later shifts unlock new events, such as Siren Rush at shift 3, Coffee Round at shift 6, Overtime at shift 10 and Cash Sweep at shift 15. The Dispatch and Manage buttons send units out and run the station. You move with WASD or the arrow keys, or by clicking or tapping a spot on the floor.
