About Key Escape
Key Escape is a free sliding block puzzle for your browser, set in a cozy toy room at night with keys hanging from the ceiling. A golden key is stuck on a crowded board, and a little red door waits at the edge.
Blocks fill the grid. Long ones lie flat and slide left or right; tall ones stand up and slide up or down. Drag a block along its own direction to make room, and keep going until the row in front of the key is clear. Then slide the key out through the door.
Each level counts your moves and keeps your record. Level 1, First Escape, gives 3 stars for 3 moves or fewer, so it pays to think before you drag. A restart button puts the board back the way it started.
The first level guides you with a glowing block and a pointing hand. Later levels add more blocks, and rewards on the right side unlock at levels 3, 6 and 10.
Key Escape works with a mouse or a finger, on a computer or a phone, with nothing to download.
