About Obby Dash
Obby Dash is a 3D obstacle course high in the clouds. A path of pastel tiles in pink, yellow, green and blue stretches into a soft blue sky, and your blocky runner starts at the near end. Somewhere far ahead waits a golden finish pad, and the whole level is about getting there.
The first card is titled Run to the finish. Reach the golden finish pad at the end of the sky course. If you fall, that is fine: you start again from the last green pad you reached. Green pads act as checkpoints, so a slip only costs a short stretch of the course, never the whole run.
Controls work on any device. On a phone, drag the on-screen stick to run and tap the Jump button. On a computer, use WASD or the arrow keys to move and Space to jump. A tip on the first level says drag here to run, or use WASD or arrows, and the controls are shown again in the How to Play panel.
Level 1 is called First Steps. A progress bar at the top fills from 0% as you move along the course, and stars wait for a good run. The panel on the left shows the level name and the stars you have earned so far.
The main rule is to avoid red things. Red tiles and red obstacles are the hazards on the course, so keep to the safe colors and time your jumps around anything red. Gaps between tiles need a jump too, and a running start makes longer gaps easier to clear.
Locked levels along the side show that the course keeps going, with new layouts as you unlock them. Take each section at a steady pace, use the checkpoints, and look a few tiles ahead so you are never surprised by a gap or a red hazard.
The bright colors and the gentle checkpoint system make Obby Dash easy to get into, even for players who are new to 3D platform courses. Experienced players can chase a smooth, quick run with no falls. Either way, each new level brings a fresh stretch of sky to cross, with new gaps and hazards to work out.
Obby Dash plays in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no download. It works with a mouse, a touchpad or a finger, and sound and settings buttons sit at the top of the screen whenever you need them.
