About Dot Collector

Dot Collector is a cheerful linking puzzle starring a friendly gumball machine. Its motto is right on the start screen: Link, loop and pop! The board is a grid of colorful gumballs, and your job is to link matching ones together so they pop and new ones drop in.

The main move is a drag. Drag across touching gumballs of one color to link them, then let go and they pop. The first level shows a hint that walks you through it: drag across the three yellow gumballs to link them. From there, you are free to find your own links.

Loops are the big move. If your link closes into a loop, every gumball of that color on the board pops at once. A good loop can clear a large part of the board in a single move, so spotting loop shapes is one of the most useful skills in the game.

Long links have their own reward. Link six or more gumballs and you earn a sparkle gumball, a special piece that helps you clear even more of the board. Building toward these bigger moves is what makes each level feel satisfying.

Each level gives you a limited number of moves, shown by a counter. The first level starts with eighteen. Every link uses one move, so it pays to make each one count. Stars reward you for strong play, and earning more stars shows how well you planned your moves.

The look is bright and playful, with shiny gumballs in many colors and a smiling gumball-machine mascot. The board is easy to read, which makes Dot Collector relaxing even when you are trying hard for a high score.

As you move through the levels, boards get bigger and the goals get trickier. The rules never change, but you will find yourself planning more carefully, looking for loops and long chains before you make your move.

Loops are the most powerful move on the board. When you close a loop, every gumball of that color pops at once, not just the ones you linked. Setting up a loop can take a few careful moves, but it often clears enough space to finish a level with moves to spare.

Because moves are limited, each drag counts. Looking for long chains, saving sparkle gumballs for the right moment and aiming for loops are the habits that earn more stars on every level.

Dot Collector runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Link the dots, close the loops, pop the gumballs and collect every star you can.
