About Bee Mosaic

Bee Mosaic is a color puzzle set on a warm honeycomb, with a smiling bee on the left and daisies scattered around the board. At the top sits a pixel picture made of small colored squares. Your job is to fill it in, one block of color at a time, with help from your bees.

Below the picture are stacks of hive crates. Each crate has a color and a number. Tap a crate and its bees fly out to collect the pollen that matches its color from the picture. The number on the crate tells you how many bees it sends. The progress bar on the left counts every square that has been collected, 46 in the first level.

The first level, Ladybug, is a small red-and-black ladybug picture. The crates come in red and black, with numbers like 4, 9, 11, 7 and 6 stacked in two columns. A row of five hexagon slots sits between the crates and the picture, where bees wait while they work.

The puzzle is in the order. Crates are stacked, so you can only tap the one at the front of each column. If the color you need is buried behind another crate, you must clear the front one first. Thinking about which crate to send next, and how many bees it will bring, is what makes each level a small logic puzzle.

A hint at the top keeps the rule short: tap a hive crate, and its bees collect matching pollen. A pointing hand shows new players where to tap first. Locked badges at the bottom show new pictures at levels 4, 7, 11 and 16, and the later mosaics bring more colors and bigger stacks.

The honeycomb background, the bright crates and the happy bee give the game a sunny, friendly feel. Watching a picture slowly fill in is calm and rewarding, a bit like coloring by numbers with a puzzle twist.

Bee Mosaic suits players who like quiet logic games and pixel art. Each level is short, the rules are simple, and the finished picture is a nice little reward at the end.

It is also a good game for kids, since the colors are clear and the numbers are small on the first levels.

Before your first tap, it helps to count the colors in the picture. The ladybug needs more red than black, so the red crates matter most. Then look at each column and see which color sits at the front. Sending the right crate at the right time keeps the hexagon slots free and lets the bees finish the picture in a smooth run.
