About Shelf Sort Market

Shelf Sort Market is a sorting puzzle set in a busy little market. A cheerful apple in a green apron, carrying a paper bag of vegetables, runs the stall, and behind it you can see wooden crates and shelves of fresh produce. In the middle of the screen stands a market stall with a green and white striped awning. Its shelves are full of mixed goods, and your job is to tidy them.

The rule is shown at the top of the screen: drag goods so 3 of the same stand on one shelf. Pick up an item with your mouse or finger, move it to another shelf, and let go. When three matching goods stand together on one shelf, they are sorted. Clear the stall of mixed goods, and the level is done.

The first level, First Shift, keeps things small. The stall has three shelf spaces with tomatoes and bottles of water mixed together. Two tomatoes already stand side by side, and one more sits between the bottles, so a single drag shows how the game works. A hand points at the item to move, and the level card says No rush, so there is no timer on this first shift.

The market theme runs through everything. The goods are things you would buy at a stall, like tomatoes, bottled water, milk and honey jars, and the helpers you unlock fit the shop as well. The bar under the stall shows four of them, still locked: Scoop at level 3, Cool Box at level 6, Restock at level 10 and Extra Cart at level 15. Each one arrives as the stalls get fuller and the sorting gets harder.

What makes the puzzle tick is space. Each shelf only holds so many goods, so moving one item often means making room first. A good plan is to look at the whole stall before you drag, count how many of each item there are, and find the shelf that is closest to three of a kind. Finishing one set early frees up space for the next.

Try not to fill an empty shelf with mixed goods, because an empty shelf is the most useful place on the stall. Use it to park an item for a moment while you line up the others. On busier levels, working one type of goods at a time keeps the stall from getting crowded.
