About Loop Sort
Loop Sort is a candy factory sorting puzzle. Trays of sweets travel along a looping conveyor belt, and carts wait beside it to be filled. Each cart wants a certain kind of candy, and when it is full, it is sent off. The goal on every level is to fill and send off a set number of carts, and to do it in as few taps as you can.
The key rule is shown on the tip card on the right: candy lands on the FIRST matching cart along the belt. That one rule is the whole puzzle. When you tap, the candy does not choose the cart you want; it stops at the first cart that matches. So you need to think about the order of the carts and which one will catch the candy first.
Every level starts with a short card. The first level, First Batch, tells you to fill and send off 1 cart and that there are 5 trays on the belt. Press Play and the level begins. The top of the screen keeps track of everything: the level name, the carts sent off out of the target, your tap count, and the par for the level. Three stars sit beside them.
Par is the number of taps the level can be solved in. On First Batch the par is 1, and the win screen says it plainly: 1 cart sent off in 1 tap, par 1. Matching par earns the full three stars, so Loop Sort rewards a plan more than quick tapping. If you go over par you still finish, and you can replay the level to try for a cleaner run.
The game has a dark purple candy shop look, with glowing windows, striped poles and shaped candy pieces: hearts, circles, triangles, suns and lightning bolts. Locked rewards wait at level 3, level 6, level 10 and level 15. There is a How to Play button, a settings button, and a help button if you want a reminder of the rules.
A good approach is to look at the whole belt before your first tap. Find which cart each tray would reach first, and send the trays that land where you want them. If a tray would land in the wrong cart, it is often better to wait and fill another cart first. Thinking one or two taps ahead is usually enough to hit par on early levels.
Loop Sort runs in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no download. Levels are short, the rules are on the screen, and the par system gives every level a clear target to aim for.
