Legal contact & reporting
Contact points (EU Digital Services Act, Articles 11 and 12)
- For authorities (the European Commission, national authorities and the European Board for Digital Services) and for users: legal@hyperoza.com.
- Languages: English and Hungarian.
- A person reads and answers every message; we don't rely only on automated replies.
Operator details are in the Imprint.
Report illegal content or a game
Use the Report link on any game page or the report form. You don't need an account. Please tell us:
- what is wrong and why you think it is illegal or breaks our rules,
- the exact address (URL) of the game or page,
- your name and email address (not required if you are reporting child sexual abuse material),
- that you believe in good faith that your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm that we received your report, decide on it without undue delay, and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge the decision.
Copyright and trademark complaints
If you believe a game or anything on Hyperoza infringes your copyright or trademark, use the report form and choose Copyright or trademark, or email legal@hyperoza.com. Please include:
- the work or mark you own (or represent) and proof that you are the rights holder or act for them,
- the exact URL of the game or page,
- your contact details,
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that the information in your notice is accurate.
What happens next: when we receive a plausible complaint we usually disable the game first and then review it. We reply to you, and if a game is removed we tell the person who supplied it why. Notices under the Hungarian e-commerce act (Ekertv. section 13) are handled within its deadlines. We remove accounts of people who repeatedly upload infringing content.
How we moderate
- People review every game before it is published on Hyperoza.
- We act on reports and on our own checks. Possible measures: removing or disabling a game, limiting where it appears, or suspending an account or payments.
- When we take a measure against content someone supplied, we give that person a statement of reasons: what we did, why (the facts, and the law or rule involved), whether it followed a report, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge it.
- To challenge a decision, reply to our decision email within 6 months. Someone who was not involved in the original decision will review it where possible. You can also go to court.
- We may stop handling reports from someone who keeps sending clearly unfounded ones, after a warning.
- If we learn of content that suggests a criminal offence threatening someone's life or safety, we inform the police.
Numbers
Hyperoza is a small service, not a "very large online platform". We publish the average number of monthly active recipients in the EU on request of an authority.
