About Tile Tribe
Tile Tribe is a tile-matching puzzle set under the sea. The board is a small heap of square tiles, each painted with a crab, a starfish, a fish or another ocean creature, and some tiles lie partly on top of others.
Only a free tile can move. Tap one that nothing covers and it slides down into the tray at the bottom of the screen, which has seven slots. As soon as three matching creatures sit in the tray together, they wash away and free up room.
Level 1, First Splash in the Shallows, asks you to clear all 15 tiles. The danger is the tray itself: if all seven slots fill with creatures that never make a set of three, the level is lost. Planning a few taps ahead, and noticing which tiles a move will uncover, is what wins.
Each level awards up to three stars, and a restart button lets you try again straight away. Later levels open at 3, 6, 10 and 15, with bigger heaps to dig through. You can play on a phone held upright or with a mouse on a computer.

Tips for Tile Tribe
- Before sending a creature down, check that two more of the same kind are free or about to be uncovered.
- Keep at least two tray slots empty whenever you can; a full tray ends the round.
- Clear the tiles that cover the most other tiles first, so more choices open up.

Only tiles with nothing lying on top of them. Covered tiles become free once the tiles above them are gone.
