About Squire's Ascent
Squire's Ascent is a free idle life simulator for your browser. You begin in the town of Hearthvale as a 16-year-old stable hand with empty pockets and big dreams, and the days pass on their own while you decide what to do with them.
Every day your job pays coins and gains experience, and your chosen skill trains in the background. Jobs sit in two tracks, Village Trades and the Order of the Lance, and skills are split into Mind and Body, such as Focus and Vigor.
Chapters give you clear goals. The first, A Humble Start, asks you to reach Stable Hand level 5; finishing it gave a Laurel worth 2% more experience on everything. The next chapter asked for Focus level 5, and the one after that sends you to the forest edge to work as a woodcutter.
As coins pile up the shop opens: a haystack, a canvas tent or a thatched hut for more comfort, and goods like a journal or a practice dummy that speed up training. Your age counts up too, so pick jobs and skills that pay off before your years run out.
There is nothing to install. Squire's Ascent keeps playing while you plan, and it works with a mouse or a finger.
