About Fruit Frenzy
Fruit Frenzy is a juicy puzzle game set at a tropical beach bar. A cheerful toucan with a glass of orange juice keeps you company, palm trees sway in the background and the board in the middle is packed with fruit. Your goal, written at the top, is simple: squeeze them all.
The first level is called First Squeeze. The board holds rows of oranges and strawberries, and below it sit cups, each showing a fruit and a number. Tap a cup and it hops onto one of the pads, then squirts every fruit of its color on the bottom row of the board. Each fruit it squeezes counts down its number.
That one rule creates a lot of small decisions. The bottom row changes as fruit is squeezed away and the rows above slide down, so the order in which you tap cups matters. A cup that has nothing to squeeze right now may be perfect two moves later.
The pads are limited. Only a few cups can wait on them at once, so filling the pads with the wrong cups can leave you stuck. Planning which cup to send next, and keeping a pad free for the cup you will need, is the core skill of the game.
Every fruit you squeeze adds to your juice score, shown on the left. A progress bar fills as the board empties, and clearing the whole board finishes the level. If a plan goes wrong, the Restart button lets you try the level again straight away.
The bright beach look makes Fruit Frenzy a relaxing game to play. Oranges, strawberries and other fruit fill the board in clear rows, so it is easy to see what each cup will do before you tap it.
New levels unlock as you go, adding more kinds of fruit and trickier boards. The rules stay the same, but the boards ask for more careful planning, which keeps the game fresh without making it confusing.
Planning which cup to tap next is where the puzzle lives. Each cup only squeezes fruit of its own color from the bottom row, and the free pads fill up fast. Tapping a cup whose fruit is not ready yet can leave it waiting on a pad, so it pays to look at the bottom row first and pick the cups that will finish their count right away.
