About Balloon Match

Balloon Match is a cheerful color puzzle set at a fair, with bunting flags strung across the top of the screen and striped hot-air balloons floating on either side. In the middle sits a grid of shiny balloons in bright red, blue and green. Your goal is short: pop them all.

Tap a balloon and it floats down into the tray at the bottom. When three balloons of the same color land in the tray, they pop. The level is done when every balloon on the board is gone. A counter at the top shows how many balloons are left, nine in the first level, First Pop.

The tray has seven slots. If it fills up with balloons that do not make sets of three, the level is lost. That gives each tap a little weight. A quick look at the board before you begin tells you how many of each color there are and where they sit.

The first board is a neat three-by-three grid with three balloons of each color, so it is the perfect way to learn the rules. A pointing hand shows where to tap, and a short line under the counter repeats it: tap a balloon to send it to the tray. Later levels, with locked badges at levels 3, 5, 9 and 13, bring bigger and busier boards.

What makes Balloon Match stand out is how easy it is to read. There are no pictures to tell apart, only colors, and the balloons are large and glossy. That makes it a friendly first puzzle for young players, and a relaxing pick for anyone who wants a short break.

Even with simple rules, a little planning helps. Sending one red, one blue and one green balloon in a row fills three slots without a single pop. Collecting colors in sets keeps the tray clear and makes every level feel smooth.

The soft purple sky, the glowing lights in the background and the bright bunting give the whole game a party mood. Every pop is short and satisfying, and the board clears quickly once you find a rhythm.

Balloon Match is quick to start, simple to learn and easy to come back to, one colorful board at a time.

A simple plan works well on every board. Pick one color, send all three of those balloons down, and watch them pop. Then do the same with the next color. The tray stays empty between sets, and you always have room to fix a mistake. On bigger boards, it helps to start with the color that has the fewest balloons left in view.
