About Gem Glide
Gem Glide is a calm puzzle game about sending gems home to reveal a picture. Each level shows an outline made of empty spots, and every spot waits for a gem of a matching color. Fill them all and the hidden picture appears. The first level, First Sparkle, gets you started with a small picture to complete.
The main move is a single tap. Tap a gem and its whole color group lifts off at once. Those gems glide to the empty spots of their color on the picture. If there are more gems than free spots, the rest wait in the tray at the bottom of the screen.
The tray is where the puzzle gets interesting. It has a limited number of slots, eight in the first level, and gems waiting there take up room. Tap a tray gem to send it home when a spot for it opens up. If the tray fills up with gems that have nowhere to go, the level gets tricky.
Planning your taps is the core skill. Picking a color group that fits neatly into the free spots keeps the tray clear, while tapping a big group too early can crowd it. A little thought before each tap goes a long way.
A counter at the top tells you how many spots are left to fill, so you can see your progress as the picture comes together. Watching the last gems glide into place and the full picture sparkle is the reward at the end of every level.
The look is soft and pretty, with a pastel purple background, floating crystals and sparkles. Rubies, sapphires and other colored gems shine as they move, which makes the game pleasant to look at as well as to play.
New levels unlock as you progress, with bigger pictures and more colors to sort. The rules stay simple, so the game is easy to learn, but the larger pictures ask for more careful planning.
The tray is your safety net. With 8 slots, it holds gems that have nowhere to go yet, but a full tray leaves you stuck. Tapping groups whose spots are already open keeps the tray light, and saving the tray for the trickier colors gives you room to finish the picture.
Watching a whole color group glide into place is the reward. Each tap fills more of the outline, and the picture slowly sparkles into view, starting with the very first level, First Sparkle.
