About Pupdoku

Pupdoku is a logic puzzle set in a sunny dog park. A happy puppy welcomes you and explains the idea: settle one pup in every colored yard. The board is a grid split into pastel yards, and each yard needs exactly one pup. The first level, First Walk, uses a small grid with four pups to place.

There are three rules to follow. Each yard holds one pup. Each row and each column holds one pup. And pups never touch, not even diagonally. Those three rules are all you need, and every puzzle has one answer that fits them all.

You solve by marking the grid. Tap a spot to mark it with an X, meaning no pup can go there. Double-tap a spot to settle a pup. You can also drag to mark many spots at once, which is handy when a whole row is ruled out.

The fun of Pupdoku is in the logic. Small yards are a good place to start, since they leave few options. Once a pup is placed, you can cross out its row, its column and every spot around it, and those marks often reveal where the next pup must go.

Hearts keep the game fair. You start each level with three, and placing a pup in the wrong spot costs one. That means you can make a mistake or two while you learn, but careful thinking is still rewarded.

Park stars track your progress across the whole game. Finish levels to earn them and fill up your park. New levels unlock as you go, with bigger grids and trickier yard shapes.

The look is soft and friendly, with pastel yards, paw prints and a cute puppy mascot. It is a calm way to enjoy a brain teaser, with no timer pushing you to rush.

Marking spots with an X is the secret to solving each park. Once a pup is settled, every spot in its row, column and around it is ruled out, and marking those spots makes the remaining choices much clearer. Most puzzles can be solved step by step with pure logic, no guessing needed.

The park starts with First Walk and a friendly Welcome to the dog park! message, and you have 3 hearts per puzzle. Each solved park adds stars toward the park total, so there is always a next yard to fill.

Pupdoku runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Mark the grid, settle the pups and solve every yard in the dog park.
