About Tricky Brain
Tricky Brain is a collection of short trick puzzles. Each level shows one picture and one task, and you solve it by dragging or tapping things in the scene. The catch is that the puzzles like to bend the rules a little, so the first idea that comes to mind is not always the right one.
Level 1 is set on a sunny beach. Mia stands in the sand with her arms crossed, and the task reads: Mia is too hot! Drag things onto her to cool her down. Around her you can see an ice cream cone, a beach umbrella and a pair of sunglasses. A small hint under the picture suggests dragging the umbrella onto Mia, and three empty circles above the scene suggest there is more than one thing to find.
The game gives you its own advice on a Brain tip card: read the question twice, because sometimes the answer is hiding in its words. That is the heart of Tricky Brain. You win by paying attention to the wording and to small details, not by speed.
A cheerful cartoon brain with sneakers is the mascot, and a star counter on the left keeps track of what you have collected. A reset button in the top corner lets you start a level again. More levels unlock as you go, at levels 2, 4, 7 and 12, and the puzzles are short enough to try one while waiting for the kettle.
Tricky Brain suits kids and adults who like riddles, lateral-thinking questions and a bit of silliness. There is no timer pushing you, so you can try ideas until one clicks. It runs free in your browser, on a computer or a phone turned sideways.
What makes puzzles like these fun is the moment you see the twist. Sometimes the right move is the obvious one, and sometimes the game wants you to use an object in an odd way, or to read the question very literally. The beach level shows the style well: three objects, three circles to fill, and a hint to get you started.
If one idea does not work, nothing bad happens, so experimenting is part of the game. Try dragging each item to different spots in the scene and see how the picture reacts.
