About Neon Waves

Neon Waves is a free one-button arcade game for your browser. You fly a small glowing arrow through tunnels drawn in bright neon lines on a dark grid, and the tunnel keeps climbing, dropping and narrowing as you go.

The controls fit in one sentence, which the game shows before the first level: hold anywhere, or hold Space, to rise; release to fall. The arrow moves in straight diagonal lines, so every press draws a zigzag wave behind it.

You may slide along flat floors and ceilings, but touching a wall or flying into an oncoming slope ends the attempt, and the level restarts from the beginning. A bar at the top shows how far you are in percent, the attempt counter keeps score of your tries, and seven crystals per level are hidden along the route for players who want more.

The first stage, 1-1 First Light, eases you in with long flat stretches and gentle ramps. Later levels tighten the gaps, and power-ups unlock at levels 4, 7, 10 and 14.

Neon Waves plays with a mouse, a keyboard or a finger, on a computer or a phone, with no install.
