About Hearts Table
Hearts Table is a free version of the classic trick-taking card game Hearts that you play in your browser against three computer opponents. You sit at the bottom of a green felt table with your hand fanned out, and the other players, such as Mira, Felix and Theo, sit around you with their scores next to their portraits.
Each hand starts with a pass. You pick three cards from your hand and send them to another player, and the center of the table counts your picks, for example PASS 2/3, until you are done. Passing away high hearts or a dangerous spade is often the first good decision of the hand.
Then the tricks begin. Everyone plays one card, the highest card of the suit that was led wins the trick, and every heart in a trick costs a point. The goal is to finish with as few points as possible. The first table, The Front Porch, plays with classic rules up to 50 points.
Winning a table moves you up a ladder of new tables, and stars count your progress. Helpers such as a card hint, a pass advisor, undo and a peek unlock at later tables, and a stats button keeps your record. You can even switch the portrait for your own seat.
