About Spooky Story

Spooky Story is a night-time puzzle game full of friendly ghosts. It is Night 1, and Mia can't sleep, because the spooks are up in her bedroom. Each spook wants something, and you have to give it to them so they calm down and Mia can finally get some rest.

The scene is Mia's bedroom after dark, painted in deep purple shades with soft moonlight. A small ghost floats near the bedroom door, and more spooks appear as the nights go on. The look is spooky but never scary, which makes it a good fit for players of all ages.

Every spook has a speech bubble that shows what it wants. That is the key to the whole game. Read the bubble, find the matching thing in the item bar at the bottom of the screen and drag it onto the spook. Give it the right thing and the spook calms down.

A counter at the top tracks how many spooks you have calmed. On the first night the goal is two. Calm them all and the night is over, and Mia can sleep. The next night brings new spooks with new wishes.

The heading on each night reminds you of the one rule: give each spook what it wants. A short spooky tip explains it again for new players. That simple idea stays the same from night to night, while the spooks and items keep changing.

As the nights go on, the puzzles ask for more care. There are more items in the bar and more spooks in the room, so you need to read each bubble closely and pick the right thing instead of guessing.

Spooky Story is easy to pick up and pleasant to play in short sessions. Each night is a small story of its own, with a sleepy girl, a room full of ghosts and a satisfying moment when the last spook settles down.

The fun comes from matching each spook with what it wants. The bubbles give a clear hint, but the item bar holds several things, so you look closely and think about which one fits. Dragging the right item over brings a happy reaction, while the wrong one simply does nothing, so there is no stress about trying.

The dark purple bedroom sets a cozy night-time mood rather than a scary one. The spooks are friendly, Mia just wants to sleep, and every calmed spook brings the quiet night a little closer.

Spooky Story runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Read the bubbles, drag the right things to each spook and help Mia get through every night.
