About Pocket Numbers: Pair
Remove pairs of equal numbers by tapping them while they touch. Pocket Numbers: Pair starts small, with a handful of soft pastel tiles, and the first move is simply tapping two highlighted 1s.
Its practice round has eleven short steps, the longest in the Pocket Numbers games, so the rules arrive one at a time instead of all at once. A move counter sits next to your score.
It also has the widest set of helpers: hint, undo, swap, add and a magic wand are all ready from the first level, with ten undos to start with.
A bird badge waits in silhouette in the collection panel and fills in as you play.
Because a pair only disappears when its two numbers touch, the thinking is about which tiles to clear first so distant twins end up next to each other.
